We work with Teachable to provide the “Platform” for hosting our Courses. Please read this privacy policy in conjunction with the Teachable privacy policy which can be found by following the link below.
The Courses offered by The Fertility Coaching Company on the Platform are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

Personal information refers to any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
The controller is the entity that decides how and why to process personal information. The processor processes personal information on behalf of the controller at the controller's direction.
Both The Fertility Coaching Company and our partner Teachable will act as controllers and processors of personal information.

The Personal Information Fertility Coaching Company may collect about you:
We may collect, use, store and transfer the following different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data includes [first name, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender].

Nor do we collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.
How The Fertility Coaching Company will collect your Personal Information
We use different methods to collect data from and about you including through:

How The Fertility Coaching Company will use Personal Information We Receive and Collect
The Fertility Coaching Company only receives, collects and processes personal information about you where it has lawful basis for doing so. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- For the performance of a contract. We will process your personal information to fulfill our contractual obligations with you, such as to provide you with access to The Fertility Coaching Company Services, to communicate with you regarding your use of The Fertility Coaching Company Services, and to comply with our Terms of Use.

We use personal information to develop targeted advertising both on and off the Teachable Platform to communicate with you about our products, services, offers and promotions, including making recommendations about The Fertility Coaching Company Services you may be interested in.
For research and service development. We use personal information to conduct market research and to develop new services in order to provide you with a better experience and to drive growth in our business.
For legal and security purposes. We use personal information to prevent, detect, investigate, and take measures against criminal activity, fraud, misuse of or damage to our Courses and other threats and violations to The Fertility Coaching Company’s or a third party's rights.

Legal Disclosures
We (“The Fertility Coaching Company”) may be required to disclose personal information if directed by a court of law or other governmental entity. Without limiting the foregoing, we reserve the right to disclose such information where we have a good faith basis to believe that such action is necessary to:
· comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, government and law enforcement agencies' requests;
· protect and defend Fertility Coaching Company’s or a third party's rights and property, or the safety of The Fertility Coaching Company, our users, our employees, or others; or
· prevent, detect, investigate and take measures against criminal activity, fraud and misuse or unauthorized use of our Courses and/or to enforce our Terms of Use or other agreements or policies.
To the extent permitted by law, we will attempt to give you prior notice before disclosing your information in response to such a request.
We may share your information for reasons not described in this policy. We will tell you before we do this.
Your Rights and Choices
You can choose not to provide us with certain personal information, but that may result in you being unable to use certain features of our Courses and the Teachable Platform because that information may be required for you to register for an account, get customer support, or engage in other activities on the Platform.
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relating to your personal data. Please see below to find out more about your rights
· You can request access to your data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”) to receive a copy of personal information that we hold about you, free of charge.
· If you believe that any personal information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, we will work with you to make corrections deemed necessary. Note that we may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
· If you'd like us to delete the personal information we holds about you, you can submit a deletion request. We will retain certain personal information about you where reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations or for our legitimate business purposes.
· You can object to the processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts on your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.
· You can request the restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios:
o If you want us to establish the data's accuracy.
o Where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it.
o Where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
o You have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate
grounds to use it.

We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
· You can withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.

The Teachable platform also gives you rights and choices in relation to the personal data controlled by them. Please follow the instructions in the teachable privacy policy for information about your rights on the platform.
It is important to note that as both The Fertility Coaching Company and Teachable are controllers of your data it will be necessary to contact both organisations to exercise your privacy rights.

Teachable Privacy Policy
Information Security
The Fertility Coaching Company uses a range of physical, technical, and administrative security measures to protect your personal information. For example, only authorized employees are permitted to access personal information, and they may do so only for permitted business functions. In addition, we use encryption in the transmission of information between Teachable systems and ours, and we use firewalls to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your personal information. However, no method of data transmission or storage system is absolutely secure, and we cannot guarantee that your personal information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed in the event of a breach of any of our security measures.
Data Retention
We save personal information we collect for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is collected and processed. Generally, we will keep your personal information until your Teachable account is deleted, or as needed to provide you with our services. We will also retain certain personal information to comply with our legal obligations or for our legitimate business purposes.
International Transfers of Information
The Fertility Coaching Company is based in the UK and stores, processes and transfers information from Teachable servers that are based in the United States.
Personal Information stored in the United States will be accessed by The Fertility Coaching Company in the UK and certain Personal Information collected by The Fertility Coaching Company may be transferred to the United States.
By accessing the Courses and the Platform or otherwise giving us information, you consent to the transfer of information from the United Kingdom to the United States and other countries outside of your country of residence.
Whenever we transfer your Personal Information out of the UK, it may only be transferred to a country outside the UK if one of the following applies:
a. The UK has issued regulations confirming that the country in question ensures an adequate level of protection (referred to as ‘adequacy decisions’ or ‘adequacy regulations’). From 1 January 2021, transfers of personal data from the UK to EEA countries will continue to be permitted. Transitional provisions are also in place to recognise pre-existing EU adequacy decisions in the UK.
b. Appropriate safeguards are in place including binding corporate rules, standard contractual clauses approved for use in the UK (this includes those adopted by the European Commission prior to 1 January 2021), an approved code of conduct, or an approved certification mechanism.
c. The transfer is made with the informed and explicit consent of the relevant data subject(s).
d. The transfer is necessary for one of the other reasons set out in the UK GDPR including the performance of a contract between the data subject and the Company; public interest reasons; for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims; to protect the vital interests of the data subject where the data subject is physically or legally incapable of giving consent; or, in limited circumstances, for the Company’s legitimate interests.
The transfer of data between The Fertility Coaching Company and Teachable is covered by a Data Processing Agreement.
No Rights of Third Parties
This Privacy Policy does not create rights enforceable by third parties or require disclosure of any personal information relating to users of our Courses or the Teachable platform.
Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed about our privacy practices, as we may review and update our processes from time to time.
If we make a change that, in our sole discretion, is material, we will notify you through email, by posting a notification on our website, or as required by law. Unless otherwise stated, changes to this Privacy Policy will take effect immediately as of the date it is posted. By continuing to use our Platform after Privacy Policy changes go into effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy.
